The White Air Extreme Sports Festival moves from Yaverland Beach, on the Isle of Wight to a new home on Brighton Beach and runs from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th September 2009.

The headliners for the main live stage has been announced as Biffy Clyro and Doves, with other acts confirmed including White Lies, The Cribs, British Sea Power, Natty, The Boxer Rebellion, Doll & The Kicks, Flood of Red, Lyrebirds, This City, The Lemonheads, Sky Larkin, White Belt Yellow Tag, Ben Howard, and more.

Weekender tickets are now on sale priced at £65 for adults. Student and under 16's tickets are priced at £60. Family tickets are also available. To buy tickets, click here.

The three day event will have two nights of live music on the main live stage and fringe music venues, and parties alongside extreme sports, competitions, and displays. White Air Brighton hopes to become Europe's Premier Extreme Sports Festival with an extreme sports village with free sports ramps, for skaters, boarders and bikers and all the urban sports.

They intend to host Europe's top Skate Vert comp, and have the Red Arrows and Falcons Parachute display teams booked. There will be more than 20 'Have a Go' sports for everyone to try and World, European and British competitions on the water, on land and in the air.

The White Air site is east of Brighton Pier, on almost one mile of beach which will host up to 50,000 people over the weekend. Sports competitions and displays include: Red Arrows displays, FMX, Surfing, Kitesurfing, Windsurfing, Slackline, Ropeboarding, Thundercats, Jet Ski, Aquathlon, Triathlon, London to Brighton road race, Sailing, High Diving, Streetboarding, Mini Moto, SUP, Mountain Board, Skateboard, BMX, Mountain Bike, Graffiti Street Wars, Parkour, Powerfan, Bocking, Trials Bike, Wakeboard, Beach Volley Ball, Mixed Martial Arts, Falcons Parachute displays, Streetdance, Scuba Diving, Gliding, Climbing, Assault Course, Zip Wire, Kayak, YoYoing... and more!
