The 44th Cornwall Folk Festival takes place over August bank holiday from Friday 26th to Monday 29th August with lots of live artists, plus workshops and dance sets.

The festival takes place at various venues in Wadebridge and offers street entertainment and friendly atmosphere, real ales in the local bars and a variety of folk styles as well as an array of local bands and Cornish music.

Line-up

The first acts confirmed for 2016 are Ralph McTell, Martin Simpson, Rory McLeod and the Familiar Strangers, Geoff Lakeman, Ange Hardy and the Barefoot Band, Wizz Jones the Honorary Patron to the Cornwall Folk Festival, Claude Bourbon, Thorn & Roses, Pete & Mannie McClelland Trio, Steve Dan Mills, Zoe Mulford, Brian Phillips, and Rosie Upton and Pete MacGregor..

Plus a full weekend of street entertainment, workshops, childrens events, concerts, folk clubs, ceilidhs, cajun dances and free sessions are on offer at various venues around Wadebridge.

A weekend season ticket is priced at £70. A 'weekend' season ticket includes all festival events over the 4 days, and children's tickets are half price. Individual concert tickets are also available.

Any profit from the festival will go towards a festival for future years.
