Wadebridge Folk Festival 2011


The 39th Wadebridge Folk Festival takes place from Friday 26th to Monday 29th August over the bank holiday weekend event with lots of live artists, plus workshops and dance sets.

The festival takes place at various venues in Wadebridge and offers street entertainment and friendly atmosphere, real ales in the local bars and a variety of folk styles as well as an array of local bands and Cornish music.

Line-up

Martin Simpson, Jerry Harmon and Rory McLeod will headline, with Wizz Jones, Mordekkers, Barron Brady, Amadou Diagne, Boldwood, Stompin' Dave Allen, Pb3 - Pete Berryman Trio, Chris Ricketts And Mark Willshire, Pibau Planed, Corncrow, Phil Hardy, Rum And Shrub, Leski, Mannie & Pete Mcclelland, Pete Grassby, Tros An Treys, Mo Keast, The Festival Allstar Ceilidh Band, Music With Mannie, Jo Hope, Ben & Heather Lang, Shipwrecks, The Bedlam Boys, Roger Bryant and more to be announced.

Tickets

An early bird full weekend season ticket from Friday to Monday and offering entry into all festival events is priced at £66, with children weekend season tickets priced at £34.50. There are also day season tickets, and in addition all events will be individually ticketed. To buy tickets, click here.

Camping

The festival does not offer camping however the following campsites are close to Wadebridge, Little Bodieve holiday Park, The Laurels Touring Park & Cottages, and Trenwice Farm Holiday Park. Weekend camping at Little Bodieve (4 nights, Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon) is priced at £32 for adults, and £20 for children. One night's camping at Little Bodieve is priced at £8 for adults and £5 for children. There are also accommodation options in and around Wadebridge, however with it being a bank holiday these should be booked early.

Any profit from the festival will go towards a festival for 2012.
