Plymouth Volksfest 2009


Plymouth Volksfest is a VW themed weekend being held at Newnham Park on the outskirts of Plymouth.

The idea of the event is to offer everyone a chilled out family friendly weekend with lots of entertainment for all. They have live bands, a dance tent, children's entertainment, stalls and more, not forgetting the Show'n'Shine car displays.

Acts confirmed over the three days include the headliners on Sunday who are Stereo MCs, with Dreadzone on Saturday, plus Hazel O'Connor, Mad Dog Mcrea, Ginger Hitlas, Sex Pistols Experience, Port Bandanas, The Van Daniels, Head Of Programmes, Willie & The Bandits, Two Spot Gobi, Richard James, Belfast Busker, Black Friday, and many more to be announced including 3 headline acts. Until Wednesday 13th May the price will be £25, and from then the full gate price will be £30. Camping is included free of charge with weekend passes. Children under 14 are admitted free with an adult. All children under 18 must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult. Day tickets will be available. To buy tickets, click here.
