A central part of the South West's cultural calendar, with a programme of choral concerts and classical recitals held at churches across Dartmoor and Exmoor, in a wide variety of locations from small villages to large towns.
Opening with a Choral Concert featuring two works by Beethoven in Tavistock, other events include: various celebrity recitals (in Ashburton on 14th October, Okehampton on 15th October, Dulverton on the 17th and in Dunster on the 19th); Songs of Praise in Tavistock with school choirs (15th); a Schumann Song Cycle Day (16th); a Piano Day in Hatherleigh (17th); plus coffee concerts, lunchtime concerts, Festival Evensong, and a Masterclass; culminating in the Opera of Tarka the Otter at RHS Rosemoor with an orchestra of fifteen players including leading horn player, Stephen Stirling; violinist, Pauline Lowbury; percussionist, Tim Gunnell; and flautist, Anna Wolstenholme.
