Trinity Folk Festival 2016


The fourth Trinity Folk Festival takes place on Saturday 7th May 2016 at St Marys Church, Guildford.

Line-up

James Yorkston, Luke Jackson Trio, Ninebarrow, Talisk, Long Lankin, Greg Russell and Ciaran Algar, Kelly Oliver, Mad Magdalen, Andy Butler, and more.

Plus Morris Dancers in the morning dancing the annual Summerpole on Guildford High Street. The Star Inn (next to the main festival site) are also hosting a late night appearance by the Sam Kelly Trio.

Early bird tickets are priced at £20 for adults, and £13 concessions, childtrn aged under 10 can attend free.

Trinity Folk Festival is a non-profit making event, staffed by volunteers, which aims to feature the very best of folk, roots and acoustic music while raising money for local charities. The festival takes place right on Guildford's historic High Street, where there are also plenty of opportunities to eat, drink and shop so you can make a day of it.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.

Getting there

The venue is about half a mile by foot from Guildford Main Railway Station and slightly less from Guildford Bus Station. If driving Castle Car Park (short stay) is right behind the venue (Sat Nav reference GU1 3SR) and York Road (long Stay) a 5 minute walk away (Sat Nav reference GU1 4DS).
