Trinity Folk Festival 2014


The second Trinity Folk Festival takes place on Saturday 3ed May 2014 at Holy Trinity Church, Guildford and holds two sessions, the daytime session runs from 1pm until 6pm, and the evening starts at 7pm.

Line-up

The festival will be headlined by Martyn Joseph plus Jez Lowe & his band the Bad Pennies, Miranda Sykes & Rex Preston, Luke Jackson Greg Russell & Ciaran Algar, Harpeth Rising from Nashville, Ranagri, and The Crosstown Trio. With more to be announced.

Plus Morris Dancers in the morning dancing the annual Summerpole on Guildford High Street.

The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £20 for adult, a Senior citizen ticket is priced at £18, a Student/JSA ticket is priced at £15, a child (aged 5-18 years) ticket is priced at £15, and a Family (2 adults 2 children) ticket is priced at £50.

Trinity Folk Festival is a non-profit making event, staffed by volunteers, which aims to feature the very best of folk, roots and acoustic music while raising money for local charities. The festival takes place right on Guildford's historic High Street, where there are also plenty of opportunities to eat, drink and shop so you can make a day of it.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.

Getting there

The venue is about half a mile by foot from Guildford Main Railway Station and slightly less from Guildford Bus Station. If driving Castle Car Park (short stay) is right behind the venue (Sat Nav reference GU1 3SR) and York Road (long Stay) a 5 minute walk away (Sat Nav reference GU1 4DS).
