Started in 2011 The Green Gathering, is located in the grounds of neoclassical Piercefield House near Chepstow, in the Wye Valley, Monmouthshire, and follows the tradition of environmentally and ethically conscious events that have been known for over 30 years.
These gatherings developed into the main 'green' events in Britain, if not the world, showcasing future technologies, alternative ways of life and inspired many people to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle before Green Living became mainstream.
The Green Gathering is the latest incarnation in a long line of Green festivals. Its fulsome history intertwines with the stories of Glastonbury, Stonehenge Free Festival, the Big Green Gathering and Climate Camp.
