More info

The Green Gathering follows the tradition of environmentally and ethically conscious events that have been known for over 30 years. These gatherings developed into the main 'green' events in Britain, if not the world, showcasing future technologies, alternative ways of life and inspired many people to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle before Green Living became mainstream.

Green Gathering attracts a broad range of people of different ages and backgrounds. under 10s can come for free and with a kids and teen zone, it's popular with families too offering a chance to explore, learn and be inspired for a sustainable, earth-friendly future.

Powered by renewable energy the lively family gathering hosts folk from far and wide who enjoy four days of music, poetry, talks and workshops. It's a fun, creative celebration with an environmental focus and a warm community feel.

Held in 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty', the event also hosts green crafts, permaculture, earth mysteries, speakers forums, cafes, a green market, healing area and a tipi field.

Ethos

The Green Gathering 2013 aims to encourage people to rethink how they live their life's and to inspire them and their families to recycle, reuse and reduce, to become more self-reliant, to grow their own food, to learn a new skill and use public transport, all small practical steps to ease the negative impact modern society is having on the environment.

There will be more information here when available.
