The Scribbler's Picnic 2015


Now in it's 14th year the Scribbler's Picnic takes place on Sunday 10h May with live bands, cabaret, karaoke and DJs.

The Scribbler's Picnic music festival and family fun day takes place at Stirling Rugby Club with 8 stages of music and a host of local performers taking part.

Expect a range of entertainment for all the family including family-friendly main stage, folk tent, two rock tents, acoustic cafe, beer tent, Scribbler's cafe, charity stalls, drumming workshops, sport activities and more to be announced.

Line-up

The first acts announced are Erin Vivers Ferguson, Cameron Roxburgh, Kieran Fisher, James Brewster, Polarnecks, Paul Moran, Kevin Harper, The iFoundation, Ultra-Violet, Shauny Sherman, Sarah Em, Lauren & Laura, Calum Gilligan, Souey, Stop the Clocks, Deep As Grass, Steven Kemp, Scott McGill, Colonel Mustard & the Dijon 5, and Tom Urie.

Early bird tickets are priced at £7 for adults, and £5 for under 16s (under 5s free)

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in Stirling.

Charity

The Scribbler's Picnic has helped to raise more than £100,000 since it started as a small memorial concert in 2001, for local musician, teacher and writer Graham Whitelaw. Proceeds from the entire weekend will be donated to five cancer charities - the Children's Hospice Association, Maggie's Centre Glasgow, Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Strathcarron Hospice.
