Scotcampus Freshers Festival 2008

The Scotcampus Freshers' Festival will take place on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th October in Glasgow's George Square.
Artists confirmed include Taio Cruz, Attic Lights, Isosceles, The Down and Outs, Grace Emilys, Popup, Hi 5 Alive, The Manikees, the Debuts, The Briganties, Carrie MacDonald, Thieves in Suits, Chi Weapon, Running with Horses, This July, The Last Corinthians, The Lotus Project, Wilburnsilver, Little John Rocket and the Bluffers.
As well as music, the festival offers students and teenagers crucial advice, exhibitors, entertainment and competitions. This event isn't just for freshers, but for those in Scotland already studying, and those leaving school next year and is expecting to attract 10,000 young people from all over Scotland, the UK and elsewhere.
As well as the music on offer, there will be lots more happening and lots of giveaways, including a car, music lessons from the Glasgow Academy of Music and Sound, and beauty treatments. There will also be a gaming zone, a paint ball range, complementary food and drink, an outdoor fun area, free haircuts, life coaching sessions, goody bags, and health and lifestyle advice.
