Rowchester Music Festival 2010


Rowchester Music Festival returns on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th July at Rowchester House, Greenlaw, in the beautiful Borders of Scotland, just 1 hour from Edinburgh.

Line-up

Main Stage

Saturday Guns At Dawn (DJ Set), The Gillyflowers, Jakil, The Warehouse Announcement, The Dull Fudds, Lost In Audio, The Press Plays, The Hurricans, Run/Lucky/Free, Atmostheatre, and Jack Can't Dance.

Sunday Midlife Crisis, The Crooked Fiddle Band, Daisy Chute, Bwani Junction, CCJ, Lexy Rose, Angie & The Stray Tones, Idiot Cut, and The Riddell Fiddlers.

Acoustic Stage

All weekend Avital Raz & Amoz Rungal, Richard Cobb,Kate Healey, Rachel Waters, Barney Maddix, Mr Wishart, The Dirty Aprons, London & Paris, Hannah O'Reilly, Simon Kempston.

Tickets

An adult ticket is priced at £17.50 for either Saturday or Sunday, youth tickets for those 12-17 years of age are priced at £10, and under 12s have free entry. A family one day ticket is priced at £40. Camping is available priced at £5 per tent. To buy tickets, click here.

The vent

It features a strong line-up of emerging bands and solo artists performing a wide range of music over two stages. During the two days there is a lot going on with dance performances, a well-being area, poetry, a wide range of food & drink and lots of other activities.

Kids area

There's children's entertainment with story telling, art classes, football, face painting, and more.

Getting there

There are regular buses from St. Andrew Square, Edinburgh to Kelso or St Boswells.

The nearest train station is at Berwick-upon-Tweed and there is a bus (route 60) which takes you to Greenlaw.

Camping

There are two camping areas, one is a quiet zone, and there will be a special late night performance for those staying on the Saturday night. Camping spaces are limited so book early if you are planning to stay.

The festival's supported charity is Teenage Cancer Trust.
