Rowchester Music Festival 2009


Rowchester Music Festival takes place on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August 2009 at Rowchester House, Greenlaw, in the beautiful Borders of Scotland, just 1 hour from Edinburgh.

Performing on Saturday will be Fluke, Bainbridge, Dirty Modern Hero, Tie for Jack, Jakil, and Little Eskimos. Sunday's line-up includes Bwani Junction, Problems with Jonny, Flora Munro, Lewis Irvine, Hailey Beavis, and The Verdict with more acts still to be confirmed.

The festival is strictly limited to only 1500 tickets and offers a line-up of emerging bands over two days, plus camping facilities, food and drink, a secret garden, chill out zone, kids area and loads of other activities!

The event takes place from 11:30am each day. An adult ticket is priced at £15 for either Saturday or Sunday, youth tickets for those 12-16 years of age are priced at £10, and under 12s have free entry. camping is available for Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th August priced at £10. Children using the Fairground Fun Area will be charged £2.50 each (a one-off charge to cover the entire day).

There are regular buses from St. Andrew Square, Edinburgh to Kelso. From Kelso, there are regular buses to Greenlaw.

The nearest train station is at Berwick-upon-Tweed and there is a bus (route 60) which takes you to Greenlaw.

Campers should arrive any time after 10am on the Saturday morning (15th August) and depart prior to 9pm on the Sunday evening (16th August).
