Now in its 15th year, the Rhythms of the World Festival claims to be the largest free festival of world music in the UK.

The festival takes place in the streets of Hitchin in Hertforshire, from Saturday the 15th of July to Sunday the 16th of July and is part of the Hitchin festival. This year there will be over 700 performers on 10 stages. Line-up details and confirmed acts will appear here when they are announced.

The festival is funded entirely by sponsorship, grants, stall lets, merchandise sales and donations.
