The Outsider combined a music festival with a range of other outdoor activities, both in the festival arena and outside it too, as well as film, comedy and debate held in the landscape of Cairngorm National Park in the shadow of the Cairngorm Mountains on Rothiemurchus Estate, Scotland. The event was cancelled in 2009 and hasn't returned.
