Newtown Summer Festival 2003

A community festival over 3 weekends with the first weekend, 6th-8th June featuring Music, Theatre and Dance with free entry to the Town Hall Ground for daytime events and productions on Saturday.
There will be a street parade, childrens entertainment and rides, craft workshops and craft and food traders. In the evening there will be music catering for a variety of tastes to be enjoyed in a Big Top tent (with line dancing on Sunday), a Chill Tent and even folk music and dancing by moonlight in the ruins of St. Marys Church.
The second weekend, 13th-15th June, is a Carnival Weekend and the third weekend, 21st-22nd June is to be a Food Festival with a charity 'It's A Knockout' and 'Songs of Praise'.
