Margate Soul Festival 2018

Margate Soul Festival happens annually and is held from Friday 3rd until Sunday 5th August 2018 over the streets, specific venues, harbour, seafront and Winter Gardens in the Old Town quarter of Margate, in Kent.

Line-up

Confirmed acts so far are The Fatback Band, Atlantic Starr, Deniece Williams, SoulHouse Music, The Brit Funk Association, Eddie Piller's 30 Yrs Of Acid Jazz, and Children Of Zeus.

Tickets are on sale, currently priced at £69 for the weekend.

General tickets will be initially priced as follows:-
weekend: £69 (then £75, £80 on the door)
Friday: £27.50
Saturday: £44 (£49 on the door)
Sunday: £44 (£49 on the door)

The main outdoor stage is located on Fort Lower Promenade at the rear of The Wintergardens, and the indoor venues are at the Winter Gardens, Olby's Soul Cafe, The Lighthouse Bar, Imperial Lounge, The Crescent Victoria, The Northern Belle, and Milos.

There's also street parties at The Carnival stage opposite the Turner Gallery, The Piazza, and Revenge of the Soulboy at Market Place, and a spoken word stage.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
