Maker Sunshine Festival 2003


A family friendly festival with 3 stages and various entertainments taking place on a spectacular site just a few miles south of Plymouth and only a 10 minute walk from the beach. Camping is in settlements with toilets and showers nearby.

Although the full line-up is not confirmed yet, lots of details are forthcoming.
With music on the Main Marquee stage from 6.30pm to midnight on Thursday night, you can expect to enjoy music from Kyng Farouk, Diamond Geezers and General Confusion, with others to be confirmed.
On Friday from 6.15pm until 11.45pm, there'll be a ten-piece funk band, Jelly Jazz and the Quantic Soul Orchestra plus DJs Pete Isaac and Griff and Jelly visuals.
On Saturday, from 1pm until 11.45pm there'll be ska music from Too Hot and African dance-hall sounds from Zambula.
On Sunday from 12.30 until 11pm you can enjoy Irish folk music from Mad Dog McCrea and also local band, Stag, with more to be confirmed.

There's an Energy Room open every evening from 6pm until midnight featuring hi-nrg punk 'n' metal bands such as NoComply, The Once over Twice, Orca, Best Before End and Neck 79.
Saturday night is a hip-hop night featuring live acts, The Cohorts and Gert Biggun with Flava DJs XL and Bloodshot.

There's the Second stage too where you can see Watershed, Richard James, Vince Lee, and many more.

Any profits from the festival will be going to the Rame Conservation Trust.
