This family friendly festival has reduced in size and returns for its second year. The festival takes place on a spectacular site just a few miles across the Tamar south of Plymouth, only a 10 minute walk along a cliff path down to the beach. Camping is in settlements with flushing toilets, portaloos, compost toilets and hot showers. Fresh water is available on the campsite and from the shower area.

The Maker Rame Dance 2 Festival returns in 2011 from Friday 1st until Sunday 3rd July.

Line-up

Main Stage: The Baghdaddies, Backbeat Soundsystem, Freshly Squeezed, Yes Sir Boss, Mad Dog, Black Friday, Land of the Giants, Becca Langsford, The Spree, Josh Bray Band, 7 Year Itch, Lords of Misrule, The Scribes, The Lentils, Richard James, Ghetto Fabulouso, Luke Deacon, Sally Brinkworth, Panda Bear Jones, Hillside Heroes, Company B, and Louise Parker.

Cabaret Stage: Wilfredo, Byron Vincent, Le Navet Bete, Jasmine Perrow, John-Paul Gibbs, The Bureau Of Random Acts.
Music: Million Way, Oui Ja Yes, Katapulto, Pseudo Nippon Band Of Trouser, Mae & The Midnight Fair Ground.

Tickets

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £55, a youth weekend (13-17yrs) £40 (only available with an adult ticket) and children aged (5-12) £10 (only available with an adult ticket). On site

The festival will feature a main marquee with live bands, a cabaret stage, real ale bars, DJ and dance tent, and camping on the Maker site.

As well as entertainment there are workshops for all ages including circus skills, drumming, potting, weaving, bush craft, dance and more. A natural therapies area with Reiki, crystals, shiatsu, as well as children's entertainers and activities. There will also be a good range of shops and stalls on site with clothing, jewellery and wacky festival stuff of all kinds.

Recycling

The organisers have created a Green Team who aim to ensure that all rubbish is recycled where possible. When you arrive, you'll be given bags so that you can sort your rubbish out and revellers get to party with a conscience!

Not for profit

Any profits from the festival will be going to the Rame Conservation Trust.
