The 3rd annual Leamington Spa Ukulele Festival takes place in the grounds of the Newbold Comyn in Leamington Spa on Saturday 4th July 2015 with a pre-fest uke knees-up the night before.

Because of the date, the fest this year will have a sprinkling of Americana and a taste of Hawaii.
Hosts The Spa Strummers Ukestra, are joined by Lynda Styan & Red Hot Duo, Chonkinfeckle, Gabriela, Matt Richards, The N'ukes, The D'ukes of Rutland, Ukulele Union, Worcester Ukulele Club, Sedgley Strummers Ukulele Group, Jonanthan Richards, Market Harborough Ukukele Group, Harbury Ukulele Group, Michael Adcock, The Stratford Strummers, Joe Woodward, Raunds Ukulele Orchestra, The Ukuladies, UKE3A Ukulele Band (Nuneaton), and Uke groups from local schools, plus mass busks and open mic.

The ukulele festival will start at 11.45 am Saturday with the glamorous cheerleaders The CrewGirls to kick-start the opening ceremony by the Mayor of Leamington assisted by Elvis. It will finish around 11pm at night. The day will be filled with ukulele fun, with guest artistes, sets from various uke groups / clubs, workshops and a banjolele set by members of the George Formby Society.
Bring your ukes and we will have a mass busk of songs at various times throughout the day. A songbook will be available.
In the evening there will be an open mic session in the large marquee, preceded by the headline acts.
On the night before, there will be a pre-fest knees-up and uke jam / open mic in the marquee from 7.30pm.

There is a play area for children. It is only a few minutes walk to Leamington town centre. Motorhomes and caravans can park up overnight in the large free adjacent car parks.
The Newbold Comyn Arms has large public grounds and patio areas and free car parks that also serves the nearby Leisure Centre, Golf Course, and large public park.
The 'Stiff and Stilted' stiltwalkers will add to the fun, and there will be stalls with a range of ukes and accessories, a fabulous raffle for high quality ukes, tombola, CDs, memorabilia etc. Outside there will be a raised covered stage area with pro PA and crew during the day, and one in the evening inside in the large wedding marquee. In case of rain, there are are two large bars and a big wedding marquee. Stables Bar. Festival guide booklets will be available, the festival crew will wear distinctive logo'd T-shirts and hi-vis 'Crew' jackets and will be on hand to help with any queries. Food and drink will be available throughout the day inside and outside, with a hog roast outside and barbeque. .
Zoe's Place Children's hospice will have a stall, tombola and collect on the day.
