Lomond Folk Festival 2009

Lomond Folk Festival takes place from Friday 24th until Sunday 26th July 2009. Now in it's 10th year, this festival offers a blend of traditional folk music and song including concerts, sessions and workshops, as well as a craft fair, kid's entertainment and a camping/caravan site, all on the banks of Loch Lomond.

There is free music in the Village Square all day on Saturday and Sunday, and ticketed performances each evening, which usually includes a Ceilidh on Friday night, and concerts on Saturday and Sunday in the Festival Marquee.

The first acts confirmed for 2009 are Rusty Nail having a Ceilidh on Friday, Saturday has Beggars Row in concert, and Capercaillie in concert on Sunday with Trianton also confirmed.
