Lomond Folk Festival 2008

Now in it's 9th year, this festival offers a blend of traditional folk music and song including concerts, sessions and workshops, as well as a craft fair, kid's entertainment and a camping/caravan site, all on the banks of Loch Lomond.

There is free music in the Village Square all day on Saturday and Sunday, and ticketed performances each evening including a Ceilidh on Friday night, and concerts on Saturday and Sunday in the Festival Marquee (prices may range from around £7 to £13).

Booked so far are Iain Angus MacLeod Ceilidh Band, Dave Gibb, Donnie Munro (ex-Runrig) Band, Newcastle Kingsmen, and back by popular demand are Raggle Taggle Gypsies.
