Kilsyth International Carnival 2004

KIC aims to be an eclectic festival for all the family with a mix of tradtional and international music, dance and costume bringing in musicians and performing artists from other parts of the world, creating a colourful fusion of Scottish, African and Latin forms of expression in the Carnival tradition.

Open from noon till dusk, there are two stages, a funfair, train rides, glen walks, waterfalls, craft stalls, beer tent, fairly basic public toilets, BBQ food, and free parking in Kilsyth town centre (1000 yards).

There will also be a celidh and buffet at Colzium House in the evening from 8.30 pm until late with tickets at £10 per person which you can book through their website.

The nearest railway station is at Croy about a mile and a half away. The nearest coach station is Glasgow.
