Kilkenny Roots Festival 2014

Ireland's 17th annual Kilkenny Roots Festival takes place from Friday 2nd to Monday 5th May 2014 at various venues across the city.

Line-up

The first acts confirmed are The Webb Sisters, Barrence Whitfield & The Savages, Aoife O'Donovan, Sturgill Simpson, Jimmy Maccarthy, Mark Mulcahy, John Doe, Morgan O Kane, My Darling Clementine, Lyla Foy, Hidden Highways, Barry Mccormack, and John Blek & The Rats.

In addition to the ticketed shows, over 60 free performances will take place on the Music Trail in venues throughout the City.

Ticket prices vary depending upon event from 10 to 20 euros.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
