The annual FREE Concerts in the Park were held in Huddersfield up to 2008. The event was moved to Crow Nest Park in Dewsbury while Greenhead Park was revamped. It did not take place in 2011 due to budget cuts. In 2012 the festival moved to Greenhead Park, Huddersfield, and that was to be the final year.
