Now in its 16th year, Heather Music Festival is North West Leicestershire's biggest live music event. This year's festival will be based around the 2 pubs in the village, The Crown and The Queens, and the St. Johns Football Club. All venues will have their own big 'gig tent' in the grounds.

The bands and artists confirmed to play this year inlcude Jiggy, Friends of Leanord, Themselves, Darren Ramshaw, Rachel and the Lawngrower, Badaxe, Kid Klumsy, Stained Glass Alice, Nuclear Minogue, Great Imitation, Propshaft, Polestar, Rich King, Simply Acoustic, Dan White, Emily, Guy Rogers, Lloyd Harding, and more.

There will be food available at both venues, children are welcome and there is a dedicated camping area set up in the village with basic facilities available.

Ticket prices for this year are £5 for the weekend. Camping is available at Heather St John's Football Club priced at £5 per night and prebooking is advisable as space is limited.

The money raised this year will be donated to the local school, Coping with Cancer and the Anthony Nolan Trust.
