Guilty Pleasures Live

Glastonbury Festival 2007 Review

By Scott Williams | Published:

Wanna have the bestest Glasto ever, whatever the weather? Then you need to see Guilty Pleasures opening the show with a whole host of friends at Jazzworld.

Okay so you may also have to be old enough to know Neil Diamond’s ‘Forever in Blue Jeans’ and daft enough to sing along to Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ but if you do, you’ll be filled with joyous sunshine that once Suggs comes on to sing, ‘Love is in the Air’ and tell us all to have a wash, you’ll be impervious to any clouds and dancing through puddles all day.

The Tor Dogs, Magic Numbers doing Dolly’s ‘9 to 5’, Ed Harcourt on keyboards, Bay City Rollers, Tim thingy from the Charlattans and some bloke from Elbow all combined to make us all deliriously happy before the Brothers Bar cider had even had a chance to kick in, a wonderful start to the festival.
