Roll out the carpets, here come the rain
After a thunderous opening set from The Darkness, to follow them The Carpets can not have believed their luck. All the nerves were there to see, playing to an audience who were running for rain shelter they soon had to belt out "This Is How It Feels". After this work out The Carpets were starting to grow in confidence, bouncing around the Pyramid Stage as if youth had never left them. By the time "Saturn 5" got the anthem sing-a-long treatment, they had deserved their place in Glastonbury Festival folklore.
