Glastonbury Festival 2000

In the last 24 hours, no more than a few spots of rain have fallen, and with bursts of warm sunshine, the ground has dried right out.... even if it does rain later today, the site is not going to become a swamp.

The Dragon

Walking around yesterday, it was great to see the efforts made to make the site perfect for the featival. Huge decorations and art are filling every spare corner.

Millenium Farm

In Cafe Tango...Last night in Cafe Tango (in the Greenpeace area) the guys pictured right were playing. In true Glastonbury style, we tried to find out their name, but no-one could tell us... regardless, they were excellent!

In the middle of the central markets, a certain camera brand has provided a soundsystem with DJ's, and a hundred people or so were taking full advantage. Every so often the sounds are punctuated with the inevitable corporate message.

Walking around this morning there's a great gentle buzz, with expectations high for a fantastic weekend. Let's hope the weather continues to be kind. Reports tell us of queues starting to build up outside to get to the car parks.

The Glade (pictured below) looks like a great addition - although still being sorted it looks a wicked place to party. Day-Glo compulsory!
