Glastonbury Festival 2000

By eFestivals Newsroom | Published:

Could the weather have been any better? We arrived at 4a.m. on Friday morning after tramping through muddy fields and walking the perimeter.(Well it felt like it). By 8p.m. that night we had our tent robbed and money ALMOST snatched, but as they say, you don't take anything you can't afford to lose unless you're extremely well-off as a surprisingly high majority of people at Glasto appeared to be. I felt like one of the only people there without a degree in petro-chemistry! However, everyone I spoke to was really friendly and the atmosphere was wicked. Its just a pity that so many people got robbed.

We had prepared for mud all the way, so for it to be so hot just topped everything off nicely. I wish I had a photo to show how burnt I was but I swear to God I didn't see anyone as burnt as me! 12 days later and I'm still peeling! We had too many unforgettable moments to list here as will anyone who went to Glastonbury. They are the best memories to have. Anyway, hope next year is even better. C U THERE!
