Glastonbury Festival 2000 reviews

Element
Dance Tent
12:50 23rd June 2000

Third on stage in the dance tent on Friday were Element. We had come across them previously backing up Bentley Rhythm Ace at the Astoria. We were impressed then and even more so seeing them out there on their own.

The atmosphere in the dance tent, unsurprisingly, was still cool as it was early, crowds were still arriving and many were still recovering from the previous evenings revelries. Element didn't take long though to kick life into the audience with their big beat trancy core sound with guitar samples and plenty of bells and whistles for those of us that like those extras. The set was ramped up perfectly and the crowds started to expand as it ran on with the dance tent over two thirds full by the end with everyone getting in the mood and plenty of dancing. If you come across them then take a minute out to try it, I don't think you'll be leaving till the end.
