Asian Dub Foundation
Pyramid Stage
13:00 24th June 2000

Asian Dub Foundation are never ones to keep it quiet and playing an early stint on the pyramid stage did not hinder them. A very impressive turn out for the time of day and it was fully rewarded with a banging effort from the gang.

The immense energy and belief that ADF have in themselves results in live performances which have been dubbed amongst the best of the best. Their intense drum & bass mixed in with punky guitar riffs had the mosh pit going crazy.

The messages ADF like to put across featured highly especially in numbers such as Free Saptal Ram and Naxalite as well as Real Great Britain and others from the recent Community Music album.

ADF were unfazed by the passing of the carnival procession and neither were the audience. They kept jumping and bouncing around the stage and had us all bouncing along too. More please but definitely at a more civilised time of the day next year. They deserve it.
