Fun Lovin' Criminals - review by : Andrew Reilly

Glastonbury Festival 1999

Pyramid Stage, Sunday 27th June

What a great performance! They really were the highlight of the festival for me. The sun was setting behind the Pyramid Stage, and the atmosphere was great... then the band came on! They played the greats, Scooby Snacks, Barry White etc... Then, halfway into the set, the band broke into "Huey's Acting School" with Fast and Huey performing a scene from Scarface. Great fun.

After that some real mind-blowing music, then off they went, and back on for two songs, then off, then back again! It was such a great great great performance! I left the arena with a mile-wide grin. Me and my mate felt that it was such a great end to the festival that we didn't even go and see Skunk Anansie, opting instead to hunt for the outdoor cinema in the dark whilst giggling away to ourselves... Anyway, there you go.
