Glastonbury Festival 1999

By eFestivals Newsroom | Published:

The highlights of Glastonbury this year for my crowd were the fact we could actually sit outdoors without sinking into a sea of mud(and enjoy the sun), get massages all day in the Healing Field, and of course Underworld's "Born Slippy" and the crowd going mental!

Personally Fat Boy Slim mixing the Stones was a top moment, as were the lightshows during Orbital.

Low points involved the sea of people on Saturday night between the main stages (too many people! too little space!) and the getting really paranoid about tents getting slashed and people getting mugged: a friend's tent was robbed while she was asleep in it...... and of course those idiots who pelted Keanu with fruit the moment he stepped on stage - poor bloke never had a chance!
