Glastonbury Festival 1999

By eFestivals Newsroom | Published:

I really want to say a big thank-you to the medical team working at Glastonbury festival on Sunday night. My 12 year old daughter was taken ill with suspected appendicitis and arrangements were made to send her by ambulance (she loved the flashing blue light) to Bath Hospital. Following exhaustive tests there, she was discharged on Monday night. I have never had cause to visit the medical site before and was overwhelmed by the efficiency of the team - if I ever get ill, I hope it will be while I'm at the festival.

Many, many thanks.
