Beth Orton - review by : Solomon Degia

Glastonbury Festival 1999

By eFestivals Newsroom | Published:

Pyramid Stage, Saturday 26th June

I used to think Beth Orton was exceptional, but I was wrong. It seems I grossly underestimated her. Beth Orton's performance was a heartfelt collection of bluesy, soulful, folk music, a smooth collection of humour, blistering acoustic guitars and tender vocals. Quite simply a brilliant way to spend a hot, lazy afternoon, listening to Beth Orton was a truly moving experience.
