Glastonbury Festival 1998 reviews

Glasters then. Bit wet. And cold.

So cold infact that on waking on Saturday morning I was convinced that I was going to die. Either that, or never be warm again.

Right there, I made the decision to not go to sleep again. It wasn't hard, there were just so many fun people to talk to.

In no particular order, I met:
a girl called Vicky and her boy friend. She was paranoid at being thought Spanish. He was very quiet.

The Guitarist from the Ozrics, who has renounced all chemicals, but smokes a mean spliff.

Some rich kids who had cabbed it all the way from READING at a cost of over £100

Loadsa' Hare Krishnas whose tent was dry and whose music got everyone dancing

And loads and loads of other people who all played there part in keeping it all going, despite the best efforts of God to ruin it all.
