The Frome Festival is now in its fifth year. There will be at least 122 events, plus exhibitions throughout the town and surrounding area with a comprehensive programme of many types of music: classical, folk, jazz, world music and more including three concerts at Marston House with the gates opening for a picnic at 6pm each evening:
Friday, 8th July: 'Thank you for the Music' Queen and Abba tribute night.
Saturday, 9th July: Van Morrison
Sunday, 10th July: Festival Proms with Jason Thornton and the Bath Philharmonia, and featuring guest soprano, Jane Gilchrist.
There is also a wide choice of films and a diverse literary content to the festival as well as comedy and dance.
Addtionally there's a World Feast, and Summer School (this year - The Dream of Gerontius by Elgar, taking place from the 1st 3rd July) as well as workshops, events for children, walks, and talks.
The programme for the festival is now available. Discounts are available for tickets brought before 20th May for the concerts on 9th and 11th July.
