Started in 2008 the Folkstation Festival takes place at the Havenstreet Steam Railway, on the Isle Of Wight. The festival has been built up from a 'fringe' group of folk musicians who gathered together to play at railway events throughout the history of the railway.
The festival offers a selection of local Isle of Wight acts and headline acts from the UK. There will be a mixture of stage events, concerts, a ceilidh, workshops and traditional dancers.
The event scaled back to a series of events in 2013, with the hope of returning as a proper event in the future.
