Firefly is a small annual music festival started in 2010 and held 5 miles outside of Ludlow in the Herefordshire/Shropshire boarder countryside in the surrounding fields of Elton Hall.
The initial inspiration behind this festival was to provide an opportunity for small, unsigned to be able to play outside of grimy pubs. The acts offered include emerging talent, local and national acts and a special headline guest on the main stage alongside an 'acoustic campfire' and DJs playing well into the small hours.
There is a camping field next door for the few hours there are left and then a quiet Sunday until everyone is ready to get going. People from Ludlow and Herefordshire supply locally sourced food and drinks.
It's for over 16 year olds only as children and fires do not mix.
This event was snuffed out after the 2012 event.
