Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, put on the Darwen Music Live. This FREE festival will take place during the bank holiday weekend of Sunday 30th and Monday 31st May 31 2010 between the hours of 1pm & 9pm. Major & local acts will be featured throughout the weekend on stages located in Darwen Market Square & at Darwen Library Theatre.
Monday:Derek Forbes and Brian McGee ex Original Simple Minds, The Badniks, Blackburn with Darwen Music Service Wind Band, Blowjangles, Catch / Kill / Repeat, Crush, Darwen Aldridge Academy, Jah Mission Vibes, Jo Danuki Band, Martin Cooper & The Sunday Club, Modson, Outsider, Richard Moss & Julian Taylor, and Woody.
Darwen Youth Centre on Knott Street will host performances by young people throughout the festival. Featuring DJ performances (DJ tutor on hand), Live Acoustic music, Jewellery Making, Henna Tattoos, Cybercafé & refreshments.
This community music festival features something for everyone.
