Coastline Bluegrass Festival 2008

The Coastline Bluegrass Festival takes place from 6th -8th June 2008 at Plas Uchaf Farm, near Llandudno in Wales. The festival features British and European Bluegrass bands performing at concerts; plus Appalacian dancing, picking sessions, open mike, and instrumental workshops. The campsite opens on Thursday afternoon.
Many of the musicians for 2008 have now been confirmed, including the following artists: G2 - a young, high-energy bluegrass band from Sweden; Sons of Navarone; Longway; Mind the Step; and Wicked Soles.
The weekend timetable is roughly as follows:
The music starts on Friday evening with a Welcome Concert at around 8pm.
On Saturday morning there are various instrumental workshops which are likely to include: Bluegrass Banjo; Guitar; Mandolin; Bass; Fiddle; and Dobro.
Starting at 2pm, on Saturday afternoon, there's Appalachian Dance and Old Time with an Open Mike session at 3pm.
At 7-30pm on Saturday evening, there's another concert, and on Sunday, a Vocal/band workshop starts at 11am with a concert/workshop at 12.30pm.
Camping is available on site (it's £6 to stay an extra night) and there's food, real ale and a BBQ.
