Durham International Brass Festival celebrates brass music from around the world, from the sounds of Eastern Europe, to those of New Orleans. This year's festival, which runs from Friday 1st until Sunday 17th July brings together the best of current and emerging brass-inspired music.
Brass is everywhere and is used in all kinds of music - DIBF features performances of R'n'B, funk, soul, Balkan gypsy, traditional brass bands, classical and more.
With big names and big bands, the Durham Miners Gala, and various contests; plus other smaller up-and-coming acts and artists; as well as workshops, the festival has something for everybody.

Highlights include Fairey (Geneva) Band, Stavanger Brass Band feat.
