Beccles Carnival 2009

Beccles Carnival will take place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August from 2pm - 6pm each day. The Beccles Carnival weekend is more than a traditional carnival parade. Over the weekend there will be a teddy bears parade with judging of the best dressed teddy, with stalls, Fun fair, displays and competitions for all the family. Sunday sees the traditional carnival parade with fun entertainment.
Gigs are expected to feature national as well as local artists, although no names are yet confirmed.
The event will have stalls, funfair, competitions,displays, exhibits,fun and games for the whole family plus lots more. It is expected that all events will be finished by 11.30pm each evening.
Tickets are not yet on sale.
Travelling there by Bus There are discounts available if you are travelling by local bus and show your carnival gig ticket.
Festival goers are not permitted to bring alcohol onto the site, they are not allowed to leave the site with alcohol purchased onsite either.
