Started in 2007 this was a festival for 20,000 students. Beach Break aimed to compliment the music with indie films, theatre and "breaking student talent" as well as dips into the sea, and extra watersport activities.
After it's founding years in Cornwall the event moved to Pembrey Country Park, Carmarthenshire, in South West Wales, before returning to Cornwall for a final year in 2013 to take over Newquay.
