The first wave of acts have been revealed for Moovin Festival, which takes place at Whitebottom Farm at Etherow Park, nr Manchester, between Friday 25th and Sunday 27th August 2023.

Announced to play this year are: Stereo MC's, Gilles Petersen, Dreadzone,  Freestylers, Graeme Park, Krafty Kuts, Big Daddy Kane, DJ Paulette, Craig Charles, Ste Mac, Ojay, Mr Scruff & MC Kwazi, and Vince Vega, amongst many, many others.

Confirmed acts for 2023 are listed on the line-up page.

There’s lots to explore on the Moovin site, with three main stages, two smaller stages, and some other quirky spaces.

The Barn features the main permanent stage, an indoor and outdoor dance space, hay bales to chill on, and a huge bar.

The Udder One claims to be the ultimate party tent, transformed into a garden of delights to get you dancing til your wellies/flip flops (weather dependant) come off! However, the Udder One also hosts morning yoga and a daily gong bath before turning into the party zone, and continuing until 2am on Friday and Saturday with a silent disco.

The Tent on the Hill is supposed to be a chilled zone, with cushions and carpet, but that also turns into a buzzing dance zone by the time the sun goes down and The Last Resort offers a variety of offbeat performances - anything from opera to jazz, comedy or magic.

The quirky spaces on the fringes of the festival feature mad things like as free fruit & veg based games and activities with Sow The City and  Hootenay Abbey, a chill out space, also knows for impromptu performances, phone DJ parties, and weddings! Or try the lakeside where you can lounge by the lily pads (opposite a car park)! There’s also a big community firepit to enjoy plus a bus with a bar - and there are many bars!  Note: Over 18s only.

The festival is raising money for 3 charities.
