We're excited to present you with the final additions to the WOMAD 2022 lineup!
We cannot wait to see the majestic Angelique Kidjo headline Friday night, along with truth-teller for our times, Kae Tempest. On Saturday, don't miss out on the exuberance of The Flaming Lips, as well as legendary musical polymath Nitin Sawhney. Rounding off the weekend, we're delighted to present British singer-songwriter Lianne La Havas, and also Gilberto Gil & Family bringing signature Brazilian flavour to the close of the festival.
Make sure to grab a four-day ticket and catch the wondrous sounds and stage presence of Malian Fatoumata Diawara, this year's Thursday night headliner, as she kicks off the weekend in pure style.
There is so much more to discover across the WOMAD weekend, such as the awesome Kanda Bongo Man, who played WOMAD in 1983, hip-hop stalwarts Sugarhill Gang & The Furious Five, Ukrainian folk band Folknery and the world's foremost Qawwali group, Rizwan-Muazzam Qawwals to name but a few. This is going to be a true celebration of WOMAD's 40th anniversary!
