UK festival going ahead? Boutique Alfresco for August Bank Holiday weekend

By Neil Greenway | Published:

There's still a small number of festivals due to take place from August which haven't cancelled (the listings are here), but who knows for sure whether they'll happen? Some festivals cancel early and some cancel late, but now there's Alfresco Festival which is claiming to be going ahead on the August Bank Holiday weekend of Friday 28th to Sunday 30th August 2020.

Due to take place at a new site of Colebrook Lakes, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent and originally postponed from May, they've announced that a slimmed-down Boutique Alfresco will happen with social distancing and a reduced audience of (currently) 25% and adhering to any other measures put in place by the government.

As well as the reduced capacity the stages and line-ups will also change from what was previously advertised although will still include Paranoid London, Crazy P, Graeme Park, Justin Robertson, Nein Records, We Are The Sunset, Craig Charles, Nancy Noise, and many others.

Tickets are on sale, currently priced as follows:-
adult weekend: £109 (camping £20 extra)
aged 5-17yrs weekend: £40
family ticket (2 adults and up to 3 U18s): £250
