The headliners have been revealed for for Edinburgh Summer Sessions, which take place at Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh on selected days between Saturday 8th and Thursday 20th August 2020.
The shows are:-
Saturday 8th August: Tom Jones (from £55)
Sunday 9th August: Lionel Richie (from £65)
Tuesday 11th August: Michael Kiwanuka (from £39.50)
Wednesday 12th August: The 1975 (from £45)
Thursday 13th August: McFly (from £45)
Tuesday 18th August: Simple Minds (from £49.50)
Thursday 20th August: Travis (from £45)
Taking place in the heart of Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh Summer Sessions pops up against the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle during the world-renowned Edinburgh International Festival.
Lionel Richie said, "I'm really looking forward to heading back to Scotland next summer, the crowds are some of the best in the world and I can't wait to get back over there to see you all!"
McFly said, "We're so excited to play Edinburgh Summer Sessions for the first time ever. It's going to be an amazing show in front of Edinburgh Castle and we really can't wait to get back to Scotland - see you this summer!"
Travis frontman Fran Healy said, “Very excited to announce this show. The venue is pretty breath taking with Edinburgh Castle as our backdrop. See you there!”
