The first acts have been announced for Rewind North, which celebrating music icons of the 80s and beyond and takes place at Capesthorne Hall, Cheshire from Friday 2nd until Sunday 4th August 2019.
Headlining on Saturday will be disco queen Gloria Gaynor, and on Sunday it's Thin Lizzy, . On Friday night on the Forever Stage there's a Martin Kemp (DJ set) of 80s classics, and over the weekend there's Bananarama, Ali Campbell and Astro, Level 42, Tiffany, Heaven 17, The Selecter, Heather Small, Cutting Crew, Hazel O'Connor, The Undertones, The Primitives, Neville Staple, Joyce Sims, From The Jam, Black Box, Bjorn Again, and The Dire Straits Experience.
Thin Lizzy guitarist Scott Gorham said: "It's an honour to play Rewind - with so many classic artists on the bill it's going to be a day to remember".
Mark King of Level 42 said: "I'm delighted to be bringing Level 42 to Rewind North again this year, and very proud to see this fab festival become one of the very best 80's themed events in the UK. Getting to meet the festival goers is always a joy for us too, both young and not so young, because the ethos of Rewind is 'bring the family and party on', and we look forward to being a part of it once again."
